In Królikiewicz's declarations an expression "operations out of frame", or "in a film it's important what cannot be seen" appear repeatedly. One would like to speak not so much about the innovations as of a return to some forgotten technical devices of the cinema: perhaps Królikiewicz declares himself not only as an "avant-garde" film-maker, but refers to a decline of the classical cinema, even if used in a modern way.
An appreciation of work of this nature requires a change of attitude of mind, as when one listens to a piece of music, modern music that is: concentration and "letting out sensitivity", as well as resignation from "catching a melody", or where the film is concerned, from knowing from one minute to the next the procedings of the trial according to the minutes. Since the film does not aim for the re-creation, but at making us feel, through the style of a rather peculiar quality.
