Andrzej Wajda said these words on 10th December 1997 in Paris, when he became a member of Academy of Arts in France, after Federico Fellini death: "If I want to read detailed constructions put on Felini's films, which are the best for me, I take books written by great film director Grzegorz Królikiewicz, who analyses for many years with his students great cinema's productions. One of books, which are based on these analisys is volume "A problem with Fellini". For Królikiewicz the main feature that makes Fellini's films diffrent to another is refering to myths, retelling the myths.

The first one among such films is "I Vitellon", which refers to - as polish film director said - myth about Odysseus and more clearly to - the Golden Fleece. Fellini's story is a mischievous story about Argonauts, so about Jazon and his friends, who sit on the coast, drink vodka and can't leave anywhere. And it takes years. Finally the main character leaves his friends and goes to another place. There he chooses some people similar to him and they just set out on a journey.

I suppose that people that have stayed in the town should arise our interests. These, who left, become contrast to these, who stayed.
